Established in 1949, the ABWA focuses on access to leadership, networking and recognition opportunities. ABWA offers a 12-course MBA Essentials Program through University of Kansas; the Women’s Instructional Network, an online learning portal that offers courses in 20 different areas; and networking opportunities through economy-wide and regional conferences. ABWA has 450 chapters across the United States. Members, two-thirds of whom are sole proprietors, represent 23 different industries. Dues range from $90 to $115 a year.
