Launched in 2009 with the support of a range of corporate partners, this one-year program aims to build a strong and supportive network bringing women with at least 10 years’ experience working in senior positions (mentors) together with young, energetic professional women with at least 5 years’ working experience (protégés). Every year, 50 high-potential protégés and 50 committed mentors are chosen from a pool of 400 applicants to take part in one on one mentoring, group mentoring, speaker events, skills workshops, and networking opportunities which build their leadership skills and self-confidence. This initiative also has a LinkedIn group to further enhance networking and share insights on tackling challenges in the workplace. Since 2009, over 600 women have participated in the program which includes an active alumni network.
